Peticure nail grinder

Anyone have one? What are your thoughts on it? I am pretty much sold on it, but just haven't gotten the money saved to buy one yet. I think I'm going with the Peticure Power because it's the lightest/smallest of them all with the most power. However I like cordless everything.. so I'm up in the air on that.

I have a nail phobia, even after a year of full time nail clips. I still hate it with every fiber of my being. I can't wait to get one.

I have 2 at my shop. One is just your run of the mill grinder i bought from canadian tire for 19.99, just to try it out to see if it was worth while. It works well, its just heavy. I also have one from pet edge, master grooming equipment, i think it was called, it wasn't as strong and had trouble doing large nails, but it was a lot lighter.
I don't think i will be spending any more money on another grinder, we don't do enough peticures around here. I offer it as an add on to grooms.

I would like to try one to see what they are like. I have tried the cordless oster ones and also the regular dremel (home depot) but it is always a concern with catching the dogs hair. If you get one elizabeth let us know how it works!

I ordered the Peticure last November. I have the cordless model. It worked okay, I wasn't overly impressed. I say "worked" past tense, because both batteries died on me. I have contacted the company and they have promised to send two new batteries. However, I noticed when I went on their web site, that they now have a plug-in model. I found the batteries lost power quickly. It was good for taking the sharp edges off clipped nails, but it is time consuming to use it soley for getting nails short.

There was a big problem with the batteries when they first came out, couldn't keep the charge. The owner has been really good about sending everyone new batteries(or so I've read on petgroomer) and apoligizing a lot. He also just sent the cap to some people to use on their other grinders. The corded one is apparently the lightest/smallest with a lot more power than the cordless.

I finally received the replacement batteries from the company. They are keeping the charge much better and I have been able to use the Peticure without it dying on me half-way through the nail filing.

I have to say I don't have time to grind nails. I'd rather clip them its one heck of alot faster. Saw the pedicure and the other pedi something and liked the idea but thats all it was is an idea.
I don't want to buy another useless product.
