IVAC Clippers
I'm just wondering if anyone has tried or has the ivac clippers and do you use it with a taxi vac? I've been pondering the idea of getting a pair, i hate the way the andis has the hose and the cord attached to the clipper. Do the clippers work with any blade. I would appreciate any feedback!!!

I would like to try one too, interested in any feedback. Especially the added weight, I can barely handle my andis 2 speed compared to my mini micro.

Re: IVAC Clippers
Well i got my iVac clippers yesterday and tried them out. OH MY GOSH, so far i love them. They are so much lighter and easier to use. PLus the length of the cord/hose is fabulous. I can't wait to get the attachments for it.

Where did you buy yours? I thought Ren's used to carry them, but they don't list them anymore in their catalogue.

Re: IVAC Clippers
I got mine from a groomer in the US, try checking out groomers.net, i think there is another one listed. I used it again today, and i found that it takes the coats even shorter, so i had to go up 2 clipper combs and turn down the suction to almost 4:00.

Re: IVAC Clippers
do you find it adds a lot of extra weight? Is the bulky-ness hard to get used to?

No way, i found it lighter if anything and so much easier to use without that bulky hose coming out the side, it comes out the bottom on the ivac. I can't wait to get some attachments for it.
