Rens Pet Depot-not happy

Rens has Ivacs on sale for $289.

When i ordered I chose pink but they called the next day and explained that they were out of pink and every other colour but yellow. I told her I didn't care about the colour and I would take yellow. She then explained that yellow was NOT on sale but rather $429 (regular price).

I told her that is not right and unethical. The flyer does not say certain colours are excluded. They are not sold out.

This practice is called switch and bait and is illegal. yet, Rens is giving the explanation that some clippers were purchased before the dollar dropped and they will not honor their sale price.

They are very polite but this is unacceptable!

Hmmm...that doesn't sound like Rens to me. Did you talk to Ren himself (i think that's his name).
I had a problem with them before, it seemed like every time i ordered my shampoo, which is about every 3 weeks they were outt of it. So i told them that this was unacceptable and that i was going to take my busines somewhere else. He called me back, apologized, and said it wouldn't happen again. Well it has but not as much.
Who did you talk to on the phone? I like dealing with Diane, she always seems to know what is going on. Perhaps call pet supply (not sure if they carry it) but maybe they'll do a price match for you. Rens does price matchs, so i don't see why pet supply wouldn't.

The last couple of times, I have dealt with Rens have not been happy. Now I have a problem with shampoos, I had tried a new line which I am not happy about, 4 out of the 6 gallons different types, I am not happy with. Now I have 1 more gallon not open, and a dozen or so small bottles to sell not opened. I understand them not taking back the opened stuff, but the unopen. I was told I purchased it to long ago. It has to be within 30 days. Now I do not now about anyone else but I order when I need a specific item, and then see what I might also need in the near future to save in shipping.
The service used to be amazing now I wonder if they think that they have to so many customers that it doesn't matter. I just placed my order from pet supply
