New table

I have decided to make a home-made table! I do alot of cats and they are a whole new animal and so I will set something up that will be useful and safe for these crazy critters! Any tips?

LOL I've worked with many cats and so I do not think it'll be a problem. It's just that normally, I sit on the floor with the cat since they are easily spooked and this way they usually have no problem sitting on me while I groom them. The thing that I never tried was harnessing one to a table and I am not quite sure how that'll work! Holding one on me while I groom works fine but it looks a little strange to anyone watching! I get teased every once in awhile, but I do not make any feline enemies with the way I do it! Saves me from some bites and nips too! I am wondering what kind of straps to use, since we all know that cats can be quite the "Houdini's"!!.
