He's got a few short spots, his mom has been doing a bit of "home grooming" LOL

Yes he is a puppy, 6mos old and just starting his coat change. He was very wiggly, they took him to petssomething for the puppy special and they apparently told them that they had never seen a dog move so much that they couldn't groom him, duh he's a puppy of course he wiggles.
Your groom looks lovely, looks like it has a great coat for scissoring.

Nice grooms, they're both great! Smile

I love the cute head on the Bichon puppy, I love Bichons! I love you
I like the legs on the second dog, even the transitioning in the colour on the legs is cool.

I have some before and after’s on my computer, nothing spectacular but I will see what I have and try to post something too.

The Bichon is too cute. Smile I love puppy grooming!!! They can be neurotic, just like me, I guess. Razz

Crikey - what a FAB groom!! The body and legs are flawless!!

Shona - The cockapoo is a great groom... Did the owners attempt beforehand (looks like a short butt in the before pic LOL) Anyways, the dog is looking much more comfortable now. Smile I like the way you trim feet. Smile

Thank you. Yes I think the cockapoo had a butt biscuit and the owners trimmed it off LOL.

all those grooms are excellent! good job!

I've never groomed a cock-a-poo before and every one that i've seen pictures of seems to have those sort of ledge bangs.. is that how most owners want them done?

I think the bangs emerge due to the shape of the head. The majority seem to have cocker shaped skulls so if you trim the bangs to short they look odd. JMHO

It was his first groom, he was so funny, barking at everyone and acting like a big tough guy. I used the yellow Wahl SS comb and scissored his legs. I was going to give him a airedale type trim but he was so wiggly. Great personality I wanted to steal him and take him home.
