In business now...
So I got immigration settled, we bought a house in our town, and now I'm open for business... Joined the chamber of commerce this summer, too.
I'm grooming from my home until I can get the finances in order to renovate our garage to be my grooming salon storefront... I'm gaining new clients every month, but it's still slow going.
Anyways, there's the quick update.

Re: Hello
Hi everybody! My name is Sherry,( aka; Pixie Charm because I'm smaller than some of the dogs I've worked on!) I am going to college to be vet assistant. I've been doing the light side of grooming for many years ( bathing, brushing, de-shedding, glands, ears, bottoms, nails, teeth,) all except the actual haircutting which I have started only a short time ago. The plan is to be fulltime groomer and part time vet assistant. I have always wanted to be a groomer and have always worked on everyone's pets for free. However, once it got to the point that I started working with some very difficult pets (snappers, growlers and the non-friendly smilers) I decided that the time has come to start getting a little back! As for being vet assistant, I want to be able to care for my baby (chihuahua, named Lucky) as he is getting up in age. I love this forum. It is so helpful and packed full of tips and tricks to make things easier! Also very helpful to know that I am not the only one who has been having some interesting grooming experiences! I hope it is ok that I post here. I am not sure of how this all works. Pretty much a forum-virgin! You all seem so thoughtful and kind that I couldn't help myself!
