Re: opinions on the show
I watched the show on my computer as I missed the TV timeslot. It wasn't too bad, though I thought it a bit strange that they got them to groom woolen dogs! I don't really care for one of the judges, can't remember his name, Xavier or something like that. Some of the groomers they have chosen seem a bit "ruff" around the edges. The ratio of men seems high, considering that most groomers are women, but I guess they had to balance the genders. It will be interesting to see what kind of dogs they will be grooming, really matted messes?, aggressive?, fearful? I look forward to the next show.

I was sooo looking forward to watching it, but I tried to catch it but it wasn't on my animal planet channel. I have starchoice if that makes a difference. Did anyone else get it on there tv? I heard that it might be airing in canada at a later date.

You can watch it on the computer, click on the link above, it only takes a minute to download. And the best thing......no commercials!

Re: opinions on the show
I watched it, it was interesting. I cant wait for rest of the episodes! I didn't like that younger guy judge, the one with all the show experience. He was getting all uppity about colouring dogs, there is so much more to grooming than proper breed specific cuts.

Re: opinions on the show
Well so far I am not impressed with the show! I wish they would concentrate more on the grooming of actual dogs and less on the other nonsense. The next show they are going to have a fashion contest???What does that have to do with whether or not these people can groom dogs.
So far my pick for winner is Kathleen, she is the only one who seems to have a clue.

Re: opinions on the show
Just watched the most recent episode, the guys ruled, good for them! Malissa is so darn annoying, and she lies like a rug!! Last week she said she left the ear powder on purpose because it is supposed to help the dogs ears and then this week she said she trimmed the poodles top knot too short because she likes to see the eyes (ya ok). Jonathon is a good groomer but he is very arrogant!

malissa cut that cats wiskers off & lied about it!! I'm so glad she's gone though, more so for the other contestants than for me!

Re: opinions on the show
The show is okay so far. I would still like to see more grooming, but for the general public they just want to see the final result. I didn't think bringing cats in to groom was fair. I know I will never groom a cat after having been bitten by one at the vet's office I worked at. I would have been kicked off the show as soon as they brought the cats out, I wouldn't have touched one. I'm glad Artis wasn't the one eliminated last week. At first I didn't think he would make it very far, but I like him, as well as Jasper and Jorge. Jonathan may be the best groomer so far, but I don't like his attitude.

Re: opinions on the show
Chow time!!! Ok here's my opinion this week. Kathleen blew it, she should have shown more professionalism and been more confident with that dog. I don't like chows either but come on you signed up for the show. I love Jasper he is such a big teddy bear and just takes everything in stride. Artist drove me nuts at the beginning of the show but he is starting to grow on me.
