Merry Christmas Everyone

Merry Christmas to you too!!! We survived the rush!!! I'm at home today, phew......i need a day off before Christmas!!! I'm so proud to say that we had record breaking numbers at my shop this Christmas, my busiest day....drum role please, we did 51 dogs and it went pretty smoothly considering the numbers. Did everyone else do well this holiday season???? I hope so, we all so needed to have a good month of december, i just hope that january is steady not dead.
So everyone, i hope you all enjoy your much deserved time off, and hope that we all see eachother in the new year!!!

Well, I guess it is just Happy New Year now!! Wow, 51 dogs in one day? How many staff do you have? If I do five in a day, that's a lot for me. I was steady through December, but I can't say things went crazy. My hands were just about at the end of their useful life - my skin was starting to get sore to the touch! So, I've got a few days to recover and relax. I have one dog on Dec. 29th, but that is it until Jan. 10th so far.

Well so far this holiday, hmmm....i've played with my daughter and have done lots of relaxing!!!

Atlantic; I have 8 groomers, 1 bather and a receptionist. Most of my groomers are happy grooming 5-6 dogs a day as well, with lots of careful booking we were capable of accomodating that many dogs. That also included me doing 10 that day!!! We have to do it when we have the dogs!!! Next week we're open a few days, there are some dogs booked which is great to see!!!

merry xmas everyone as well! I was pretty busy over the holidays but I don't push it. I know I get way too frustrated when I get rushed so I say away from that. I'm off from the 23rd to the 6th!!! wooohooooo! and i'm in BC visiting my mom which is nice, but the weather is worse here than back home!
