So this year i'm thinking of entering the local christmas parade. THe theme is "the magic of christmas" I've been doing some brainstorming, but this theme has stumped me.

If i don't have to follow a theme this is what i have thought of doing:

Ask some of my clients if they want to walk there pets in the parade.

Team up with a local pet treat lady who makes them and hand them out to people.

I have been looking into getting an inflatable for my truck or trailer (anyone know ...

We brought home our first born (a boy) 2 weeks ago. The cats have adjusted fine, but I'm a bit worried about the dog. She's 11 1/2 years old, and I can't tell if she's jealous or protective of the baby. Whenever he cries, she'll go lie in front of his crib, but will move when we go to tend to him. She seems reluctant to leave me, regardless of if I have the baby with me or not. She'll stay around the stroller when he's in it but doesn't like walking beside it.

She wanders around, panting, ...

My husband owns and runs a comic book store. Free Comic Book Day is this coming Saturday. It's a promotional day for comic book stores in which they give out free comic books (specially designated & shipped for just this event) to help drum up business for the industry. Seeing as we're a dual business house, we thought it would be a great time to do some cross-promotion for my new salon. So the idea is that we'll print up a sign, saying something like "coming soon: a new grooming salon ...

I was wondering if anyone could recommend a groomer in the Stoney Creek mountain/Binbrook area near Hamilton, Ontario.

My sister just got a "Morkie" (I think that is what it is called), a cross between a Maltese and a Yorkshire Terrier.

I wish she had called me first before she got the puppy, I might have steered her in a different direction. I told her she better find a groomer soon, as this breed could potentially have a very difficult coat to work with.

Thanks.

I just got my adult female spayed for $125, including her DHPP, hernia removed, microchipping. The cost of a spay is $80 and i believe a neuter is $60, they do cats too, i think its $50 for a cat neuter, not sure about spay.

It took me about a month to get a return phonecall, and 3 months to get an appointment, but well worth the wait. I hope someone else can benefit ...

I couldn't imagine owning one and not grooming or know anything about it. I know of two in my area who are owned by non groomer, one is actually a librarian (she isn't even there usually), and one does run the other shop, answering phones etc. Neither seem to be doing very well, and one is for sale. So why why why would someone want to buy one? Is it because ...

I REALLY hate when customers tell you months later about something that susposedly happened. I'm totally open with customers and if something were to happen with their dog while with me I always point it out, so I know I didn't nick him. He was a 7 AO because ...

THEN they are sooooo concerned that their dog will be cold. You think?

Yes, I had one of these yesterday and the lady was so worried her dog would be cold. I wanted to shake her and say "If you brought your dog in at the 6 weeks point (which would have ...

By crafts i mean, dog/client related items, for example: Stiff Top Knot bows, Collar Bows, Bow Ties, Bandannas that attach to the collar, dog clothes. Simple ideas that will add that special touch to our clients. I had also thought that maybe we could do a colouring demonstration too, but from the looks of things, we may not need to as there are loads ...
