Grooming Shows

So has anyone been to the Canada Grooms Shows or the Ontario Dog Groomers show. What did you think of them? Is there anything anyone would like to see more or less of? Any thoughts??

Unfortunately, I haven't been to any grooming shows or seminars. I used to live in Ontario but had only been grooming for a year before we moved to Nova Scotia, so I never got a chance to go to the show in Oakville. I would like to go to Hershey in PA, have heard that it is great! Maybe next September??

The Canada Grooms show isn't bad. Seminars are pretty good but they really need to fix the A/V stuff. Can't quite get the video screens or lighting properly set up. They are starting to diversify their speakers as well which is nice. I wish they would grow it and add in some competitions and offer IPG testing etc... The next one is in June of this year.

Rens is having a Grooming Gala April 25th and 26th, with seminars and competitions. Best in Show wins $1000!

Did any of you go to Ren's gala? if so how was it?

It's still a month away, i did however go to the rens tent sale they just had. Got some good deals on some stuff, but it was basically just stuff i didn't need.
I'm looking forward to next month though.
