I luv to do my cocker. Dunno, maybe I have been doing spaniels so long. But with my own I have her in a kinda half puppy cut, a shorter skirt (we live in the bush), and when she is done she gets so amp'd up, she wears a smile, and I can kiss her to peices.

I like wheatons

Post by bailey on March 25th 2008, 6:41 pm

I love to do wheatons (probably because I have one and I enjoy to make him look handsome), maltiese, shih-tzu, havanese and yorkies. Easy, quick money can be earn with them.
I dislike shelties, golden and lab. They are hyper on the table and shed a lot. I always have a lot of cleaning after they leave. I am clean freak and I like work space to be clean before new dog comes for their appointment. Drying them reminds me on snow storm. Hair is flying all around the room.

I think my favorite breed to groom are the Springers Very Happy I have a Springer girl of my own, and she's an absolute riot! Unfortunatly, I don't see too many around here. I also really enjoy Schnauzers, a breed I see even less of! Westies are alot of fun as well. I'm not a huge fan of Shihtzu's, which is funny, because about a third of my clientele are Shihtzu's! I do have a few that I really enjoy though.

Almost forgot, I also really enjoy Labs. I don't think there is anything better than a Labs ears after a bath Smile

Poodles, especially Standards. We get lots at the school plus I have one of my own. I can't wait till he's done showing and I can put him into a nice German trim. I also love Mini Schnauzers and their butterfly bums.. so cute when all done up nicely!!

Poodles, Bichons, any Terrier, Poms, and I also like the ones with the heavy double coats ready to blow out,
I really love the drastic transformations.

Chalk me up as another double-coated lover. I love the transformations! Most dogs are well-behaved (have a soft spot for shelties & collies I love you) and a pretty easy groom. I call them "explosion dogs" because of all the fur that goes flying when you turn the HV on! Laughing

Just bought myself a gallon of the NS EZ-shed, which I'm dying to try... hopefully my husband can finish off the basement renos. a.s.a.p so I can start taking in clients!
